Consent is a big part of all these conventions as well. A pro-consent environment is being fostered throughout the sexually liberated community so that everyone, regardless of gender identity or sexual preferences, can feel safe.

It will also pay to do a little bit of research before attending a swingers convention if only to keep yourself informed of the rules and regulations of the various events happening out there. You don’t want to disrespect anyone accidentally, after all.

And, while we may say this all the time, it isn’t any less true. 

Remember that you are there to have fun. You’ll be nervous at first, as we all were, but after some time you’ll come to relax and embrace the atmosphere, which will be unlike any you have ever experienced before.

Our Experience at a Swingers Convention

There are a lot of misconceptions surrounding the adult industry. This holds true whether you are talking about the much-maligned porn industry, or are a couple looking to attend your first swingers convention.

In fact, it wasn’t until we attended our first swingers and adult conventions that we realized how much fun they really were, and how much of our sexuality we had been missing.
